I had a magical time at Heritage this weekend - and so much fun celebrating with @haigpointdaufuskie !

It was a treasure to have our whole family together…in my favorite place…and you could not have asked for more perfect weather!

I couldn’t even tell you my absolute favorite part of the weekend except to say that having those I care about so deeply, together in our favorite place, with so many fun things to do, filled my cup so that it is overflowing.

I had a fun interview AND book club tour of the island today too…but more on that later!

There are a lot of new faces around here recently (yay for new friends!) so I thought I would share some fun facts about me:

-I lived “up north” in New England and New Jersey for much of my life before moving to the South! I still miss those delicious bagels!

-My books are based on the real-life Daufuskie Island- my happy place.

-My favorite flowers are Black Eyed Susans!

-I’ve always been a reader, and my favorite authors are Maeve Binchy and Elizabeth George.

-Life is busy, but when I can get a quiet moment I prefer a physical book to my Kindle!
